    • So firstly, I haven't read any of the other books in this Mercy's Angels series and it didn't affect my reading experience so this can be read as a stand alone. If you are a fan of alpha males who are very protective of their women they love then you probably want to read this series. I must point out though that this story deals with a very sensitive subject so make sure you read the book description before you read this book if are worried about triggers. Lola stumbles to the door of Mercy's A [...]

    • I probably always say this, but I think Losing Lola has been the most difficult book for me to write in this series. Losing Lola dives head first into the harrowing subject of rape. I spent a lot of time reading blogs, poems, news paper articles and watching documentaries on rape survivors and the further I dug, the more I wanted to write this story for those womenr any woman whose choices have been ripped away. I wanted this book to be about survival, rebirth, strength and hope, and maybe even [...]

    • Had the pleasure of beta reading this and WOW just WOW! Loved every moment. Brilliantly written and definitely can not wait to see what is going on in Gabbie's world. Thank you KD! Awesome read as usuall and would definitely recommend this book.

    • 5 StarsIt’s been a while since I’ve read the previous books in the Mercy’s Angles series, almost 2 years to be exact. However, it didn’t take me long to get right back into the heart of what this series is about.I applaud Ms Dallas for having the strength and determination to write this series. They aren’t pretty and easy romances, Losing Lola like the rest of the series is about a woman overcoming events and such tragedy that would have most of us running to our mummies, yet somehow, [...]

    • ARC kindly given by Kirsty DallasWow , just wow !!!!!!! This book was a huge bundle of feels. Losing Lola is a book of love , action , friendship and most importantly healing. Lola goes through a horrific ordeal at the hands of a evil twisted man and you see Lola at her lowest point. This book shows her journey to finding her self again and overcoming her fears from the ordeal. She had her moments where she panicked, cried , felt hopeless but then there were moments where we saw her strength and [...]

    • 5+++ stars! *ARC provided by the author for an honest review*Losing Lola was my first book by Kirsty Dallas and I absolutely loved it! While it is the fifth book in a series, each book is a standalone. I personally feel that you don’t have to read the others to enjoy the story, but after reading it, you’ll want to read the series from the beginning. It was that good! Told in dual POV's, Losing Lola follows Drew and Lola. Lola and Drew's chemistry was amazing. I loved that their story wasn’ [...]

    • LEEANN'S REVIEW6 STARSThis book at times left me speechless But in a good way. After the opening scenes, we see a woman who has so much determination and resilience but doesn’t realize it. She is strong, beautiful and unassuming, has so much to give the world around her. She is loved and cherished and everyone in her life just wants her safe and alive. Meet Lola. You will be hard pressedto find a book character as life changing as her. This book will open your eyes to a world and subject society [...]

    • I was lucky enough to receive and Advanced Reader Copy of Losing Lola in exchange for an honest review and just wow! Kirsty Dallas has knocked it out of the park once again and has taken me on yet another emotional rollercoaster. Losing Lola is set in the town of Claymont predominately, as with the other books in the Mercy’s Angels series, and tells the story of Lola and Drew, a woman in hiding from a demon and a man with his own demons to bear. Losing Lola deals with the confronting issue of [...]

    • *arc provided for an honest and unbiased review* I will be honest about this. at times, this book was hard to read. simply because it's the reality of what rape survivors go through , struggle with and think like when recovering. maybe not being hunted down, but the mentality of Lola was heartbreaking at some points of the books. you just want her to find that inner strength so badly. you want to just jump in and make it all better. take away all that pain for her, much like how Drew felt. and K [...]

    • I love this series but - this was the best one of the series! It was worth the wait! Now we need Gabbie's story!

    • “I took a deep breath as my eyes lowered to the scars on her chest. “They are the battle wounds of a warrior who went to hell and kicked its ass. They are proof of how strong you are, and a reminder that you are alive!” – Losing Lola by Kirsty Dallas Intense, captivating and romantic.Losing Lola is an intense story of mental strength, healing and love overcoming the aftermath of sexual assault. The story has a lot of soul and romance which makes it a captivating read – did I mention th [...]

    • Scars and StrengthI love the Mercy's Angels series. The stories are realistic and relatable. I never have trouble connecting with characters and being drawn into the plot. Every time I read one of the books in this series, I'm sent on an emotional rollercoaster that I don't want to get off of. In each book we see the characters find strength in their scars. We see true examples of family, friendship, and love. In Lola's story, we join her on her discovery to finding the strength she never knew s [...]

    • This being my first Mercy’s Angels read I wasn’t disappointed, Kirsty has always had me hooked. She has brought this tough subject to life in a way the reader is drawn in, with characters who demand your attention from the start.Lola shows us that in the darkness there is light, you only have to believe in it.Drew is a man of few words, but his presence speaks volumes. These two must fight Lola’s demon head on for her to be free to live a normal life.*Lola*“The woman I thought was lost wa [...]

    • I couldn't put this book down. Kirsty doesn't disappoint with the next chapter in the Mercys Series. Lola and Drews story was heartbreaking but amazing all at the same time. Lola has an inner strength that every woman should feel. The author has this way of wrapping you in to every book, it's hard to explain, you have to read this series to understand, but you feel and relate to the characters on some level in every book. I can honestly say Kirsty Dallas is my favourite author and I can't see th [...]

    • I've waited so long for book 5 110% worth the wait!!If you've read the series you know how amazingly she touches horrible topics. If you think she couldn't possibly make another situation readable your WRONG! What a amazing story of overcoming rape and torture while finding love!! Read this amazing story. If you haven't read the whole series start with book one you will be addicted!!!

    • Four stars!!I had loved this whole series so far, however I believe this book is not as good as the others. For one, it was never explained how Lola was found over and over. Secondly, I feel that there was not as much interaction between the characters as the other books. Lastly, there was not as many sex scenes as the other books.

    • A well deserved 5 stars So I have been waiting for this book for ages and let me tell you I was not disappointed I loved lola and drew for such a hard subject to write about Kristy Dallas got it spot on I would recommend this series to anyone

    • Loved this addition Lola & drew were so beautiful together. Lola has been to hell & her protector would do anything for her. Even kill. A fantastic addition to the mercy angel series. Fantastic writing.

    • It's been a while since I've read a 5 star book! It's been even longer since I read the first four books in this series so even though I only vaguely remembered the other characters I didn't feel like it had any effect on the flow of this book.

    • I've decided to set this aside but do plan on getting back to it but just not right now. The storyline is well written, believable etc but I'm finding it dragging a bit so have set it aside at 45%.

    • Another great read!!!I love this series, I love that Kirsty manages to capture the raw emotion attached to these characters. There is still a lot of stories to tell hope to see another book in the series soon

    • Loved this book! Kirsty dallas's mercy angels series are so well done each book better than the last.It was great to finally get to read lola's story

    • OMGOMFG I love every single part of this book. Kirsten Dallas is just an amazing writer. I have bought and read every single one of her books and I can’t wait until she writes her next so I can buy and read it. Love how she makes every story relatable and how she help you connect to the characters she’s just simply amazing.
