    • Stoccolma, anni Cinquanta.

    • Smart, funny, and heart breaking. A meandering tale of friendship and tragedy, and the devastating path to a loss of child innocence so profound it will leave you gasping for breath.

    • A strange and boring book. The story takes place in the 50s and yeah It's a very weird book and I didn't understand the end. Pohl has writing many better books than this!

    • After just finishing this book I was left feeling a bit confused! The book has been sitting on my 'to read' pile for a year-ish and so was interested to see what it was all about. From the first page, I had questions and as the book went on, I was really interested to hear the answers I felt that I was beginning to get desperate to reach the end because there were more and more mysteries as the book went on that I really wanted to uncover. The only problem I had, was when I reached the end, I fo [...]

    • I LOVED Peter Pohl's books as a kid. Or rather, I super-loved some and didn't understand the rest, because sometimes the weird play with language and constant vagueness interspaced with painful eloquence just turns you away. As an example I remember reading one book not being sure whether or not the main character was the same one as in another book because it was just that vague, which is an impressive feat. I still tried to read all of them to figure out which ones that were amazing and which [...]

Mycket bra bok.

    • one of the worse book written in historywhen i started to read this book i thought it would be good but if'nt school had forced me to read i would NEVER EVER even read first page. its a waist of time, its horrible, has no storyline, and not many messages. you have to search really hard if you want to find a book even half as bad as this one was.

    • I read this whilst at 'Södra Latin', the school featured in the story. It gave an interesting insight to the history of my Alma Mater, and the story of the developing friendship is joyful to follow. Pohl has a great ability of portraying children, making the story feel genuine. Sadly the school librarian gave me a spoiler which ruined the read somewhat.

    • Letto a 12 anni. Soobie a dodici anni:Buon libro.

    • This is not the story you expect to read after having read the first 30 pages. I mean that as a good thing. This book is a work of art and a serious and very painful slap in the face.
