    • Like the heroine I was confused for most of this book. Things were implied or said and then dropped. Her protectors turned into idiots and Reifah, he’s an asshole who hasn’t showed me one reason to forgive him. All the guys knew what the bond meant and how it was suppose to work but instead of working on growing it they shit on it and then Reif went and had sex with OW. Fuck me! The only reason I was able to continue is because the heroine held no feelings for him — doesn’t excuse his ac [...]

    • The second series of Child of Fate starts off with Kismet angry, doing things without thinking, doubting herself, jealous of a beautiful woman, and trying so hard at being an authority figure that it just makes you cringe reading it.There was some scenes that left me confused. And the worst thing can happen in a 'reverse harem'. (view spoiler)[Reif, One of her bonded guardians, had sex with another woman. (hide spoiler)] This is a little hard to digest. Kismet said she didn't care but we all know [...]

    • I'm just not getting betting his series. I feel so lost about everything. Why are changelings bad? Do they actually cause bad thing to happen? If so why are the Travelers doing what they are doing. Why are Merry and Jolly so freaking weird? Am I supposed to feel anything for the guyse i don't.ke at all. Liam is icy and stand offish (and that's usually my favorite in an RH but wow. He is stand off to the point of hurtful. ). Reid has telepathic powers but he didn't answer his MISSING scholar beca [...]

    • Reviewed by Whitney@Shooting Stars Reviews Kismit is settling into the Academy and her role in it. She and her Guardians have an assignment to do soon, and she's excited and nervous about it. However, things get bad when she realizes that the Guardians are blocking her out and she has no idea why. Then to top it off she has Fate leading her to places where her Guardians aren't, and things are getting more and more complicated. This book was not as good as the first one, but it was still enjoyabl [...]

    • Sadness (spoiler alert!)There is happiness in the form of reunion, but more sadness in loss. I HATE when a character you fall in love with dies! How dare you bring that kind of pain into our made up world. I still love the book, obviously. Kismet is coming into her own in this book. The group faces the likelihood of a severed bond and have to work to fix their problems. That coupled with all the bad doesn’t leave time before the untimely death of a loved one. There just wasn’t enough time, a [...]

    • To be honest, I didn't like this book as much as the first. I felt like both Kismet, and the reader, was left too much in the dark about what was going on. It made both the world-building and the intrigue of the book very confusing, in my opinion. Additionally, I had been hoping for some romance. At least it seems like we'll get that in the third book.(view spoiler)[Jax' death seemed very sudden and not very well executed as to emotional impact. Kind of a let-down. (hide spoiler)]Well, I'll stil [...]

    • This book was great! It kept you reading and wanting to find out what was happening around the four. The ending made me sad with the loss of one of the guys, but adding in Doom was a nice surprise. This book definitely made up for the confusion in the first book.

    • Actual rating 3.5 starsI have to say, I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first. In the first book I was frustrated by how passive Kismet was and how she let everyone push her around. I understand that in her life she had little to no agency so she was accustomed to it, but I wanted to see her start standing up for herself. I got to see that in this book. Kismet and the guys have their first assignment, and it's not what Kismet wanted because the guys decided on a new plan without her. Fed u [...]

    • Karmic Justice is the second book in Katherine Davis's Child of Fate Series. This series just keeps getting more entertaining. We learn of Kismet's destiny in this book despite her guardian's doing everything in their power to keep this knowledge from her. Reif, Liam, Mason, and Jax only want to protect their Fate, but end up doing everything wrong. The decisions they make endanger their bond to Kismet, as well as put her life at risk. This is a fast-paced, action packed book full of political i [...]

    • While Kismet learns what it means to be a Child of fate and a Scholar, she and the Guardians starts to drift apart. In trying to find a way to save her, they shut her out, left her virtually alone and confused. Now, they have to face the consequences.I wish there were more interaction between Kis and the guys. We barely know anything about them. They all make some questionable decisions that seem important at the time, but later are just being overlooked. It was messy. Most of the book Kismet he [...]

    • Good 2nd installment Allot went on in this book,we saw the same characters and new ones were introduced. We were given the answers to several questions from the first book. Unfortunately for me so much information was given at times I was left confused. An incident happens in this book and at this point I am not sure this story is going to be a true Reverse Harem. This is slightly disappointing, with that being said, I still enjoyed reading the story and look forward to the next one.

    • 4.5 starsI hope to read more of this series soon because I've really enjoyed the 2 books out !(view spoiler)[ Jax(hide spoiler)]["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

    • Tangled webI found myself wrapped up in this interesting tangled web of fate story. I kept waiting for the next shoe to drop and it did! I wasn't happy with the loss of one of my favorite characters but it's definitely gotten me anxiously awaiting the next book.

    • Awesome series I want more. Please hurry I love this story and Cant wait to read the rest. I am going to recommend to all that love to read.

    • Loved it !!I enjoyed this story so much, I reread it the next week ! I am on pins and needles waiting for the third book ! I'm greedy. Need more.

    • The best!It was amazing, even better than the first. I'm so excited for book three to come out. Every character was written beautifully, be they naughty or nice.

    • Exciting AdventureI've read one gazillion books. This one kept me interested with enticing characters and a flowing plot. Good fun. Hope there is another in the series.
