    • Salute🌹Slow to start but right around chapter 3 took off. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoying this book. Its one I'd definitely recommend.

    • DOWN & DIRTY QUICKIE REVIEW!One Sentence Summary:She’s a Big Business lobbyist with amnesia & he’s a betatastic chef who says he’s her fiance- AKA, his brother.Name That Trope:* #BlackGirlMagic Heroine* ‘I don’t like her, also I can’t like her, see this is me NOT LIKING HER’ - the hero, basically * “Unlikable” Heroine With A Redemption Arc: YIPPEE!* Smitten Kitten Good Guy Hero * ‘I Have A Mighty Boner For You But I’m A Good Boy SO I MUST RESIST!’ - the hero’s t [...]

    • I'm a fan of amnesia romances but they can be tricky to pull off. The plot of this one and the characters intrigued me. The heroine, Leighton, is a high powered political lobbyist and on first appearance she's not a very pleasant woman. The expectation for the reader is that her getting amnesia will change her character, and it does, in fact, do this for the better. We learn what made her become the way she is, and she has the ability to recapture the woman she used to be (a much more pleasant o [...]

    • 3,75 starsThoughts will follow soon as I need to digest them a bit more before I can share them. No worries, I really liked the book (duh! I read it in 2 dayswhen the last read book took me 2 months!) but there were some minor niggles about the romance I need to wrap my head aroundMy reviewThis book was amazing. I was really looking forward to Jonathan's story after the first 2 books in this series and I can say that it exceeded my wildest expectations. Livesay took tropes that are not the easie [...]

    • 3-3.5 starsSuch a sweet story, I really enjoyed most of the story.I like the concept and the characters were lovable. My only complaint is about the ending, I felt like something was missing.I would like to see another book for this couple.Jonathan and Leighton have a great chemistry from the first moment.Overall it was a great read and now I would love to read the previous books.

    • 4 1/2 out of 5 stars>>>>>>My Synopsis (Review Follows): <<<<<<Leighton Clarke is engaged to Thomas Moran. Together they hope to become one of D.C.'s power couples. The only problem is that Leighton finds herself in the uncomfortable position of being extremely attracted to his younger brother, Jonathan. She manages to reign in her attraction, but when an accident leaves her with amnesia, things get complicated because Jonathan tells the hospital staff he is he [...]

    • Loved this book so much! It played out like a movie in my mind. A believable amnesia story, great characters, sexy times! I read it practically cover to cover in one sitting because I couldn't wait to find out how Jonathan and Leighton found their happily ever after. It was so satisfying.

    • Love Will Always Remember (Shades of Love) by Tracey Livesay  I like a challenge and Tracey Livesay sent one my way. Love Will Always Remember is complicated yet simple. This romance has some major angles. There are circumstances that complicate the lives of all involved. The accident and all it entails is the catalyst. It takes a while to figure out what drives the key players. The irony is that the truth is obvious but seems almost out of reach. I can honestly say, this was a true original. I [...]

    • Highly recommended!👍😉I enjoyed reading updates on the previous characters from the other books. It's good to catch up with Indy and Mike. Thomas has some issues to work through when it comes to Jonathan. As for Leighton, I'm proud of the way she handled the situation with Thomas and Jonathan once she got her memory back. She carried herself well with that situation.

    • Book three of this series and I find that I am falling more and more in love with the characters that are crafted by Livesay. She brings you in to the world of her characters and involve you in their lives on a deeper level. She gives you a reason to bond with them quickly be it illness, disability, or an accident. She crafts a believability behind her interracial relationships that shows you love crosses all boundaries and can thrive. Leighton lived a life that allowed her to be herself but onl [...]

    • Love will always Remember by Tracey Livesay is the third book in the shades of love series. I am still reeling from the complexity yet simplistic emotions from this book. Leighton and Jonathan are meant for each other but circumstances make that realisticly complex. Leighton happens to already be married to Jonathan's brother Thomas. I felt torn this entire book. I loved Jonathan and Leighton together but I have complex emotions about how the relationship between them started and the huge lie be [...]

    • Wow!I'm pretty sure i held my breath through most of this book. I was nervously waiting for Leighton's memory to come back, so I could see what the fallout would be. Thankfully, it wasn't nearly as dramatic and drawn out as I thought it would be, but I think that was mostly because Thomas has to be the biggest douche bag ever. Didn't like him at all. And I'm glad Leighton realized what he was and said 'no thanks. I've changed'. I'm also glad that when her memory returned she immediately realized [...]

    • Ay yi yi, this book is so good! It’s been awhile since I’ve read a book in one day, but I could not put this down. I’ve been so busy lately that I’ve hardly had any time for marathon reading, and even the most sugary books are taking me forever to get through. However, I gave up my list of party chores to finish Tracey Livesay’s scandalous novel! I earned quite a few new mosquito bites sitting outside as punishment, too.Anybody who watched soap operas in the 90s knows the old amnesia t [...]

    • I gave this Book a rating of 4 ✩’sTitle: Love Will Always Remember Series: StandaloneGenre: Taboo RomanceAuthor: Tracey LivesayFormat: Kindle EditionPublished on: August 29, 2017I voluntarily reviewed a Free Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the Edelweiss and am choosing to leave a review.>-< >-< >-< >-< >-<>-< >-< >-< >-< >-< >-< >-< >-<Character’s Descriptions:Leighton Clarke was dating Jonathan brother be [...]

    • Simply sweetOverall this story was okThe amnesia angle was different. And one of the things I really like about several of the books I read in this genre are how many strike a chord of relatability with me. I do food prep closely with Chefs etcYou may find it hard to believe that Executive Chefs can be as decent & fair as Jonathan but they do exist. And yes I've seen and worked with those who are the typical egomaniacal nasty jerks!😄 Wasn't crazy about the lies, esp Leighton lying to hers [...]

    • I'm liking this author and this series. The characters and the writing style are both good. And that cover! *Rawr*BUT where it falls over is in the area of research/facts. There is quite a large requirement of suspension of disbelief. If a character in a contemporary has amnesia, why wouldn't she Google herself? Or look at her Facebook? Or hell, even her LinkedIn?I would have liked more background story on the existing relationship between the brother and the heroine. I didn't really get how they [...]

    • Oh gosh this book is wonderful!Tracey Livesay always makes her third acts pay off. This book is sweet and sexy, and yes there's deception afoot here, and drama, but it's not drama that's overdone. It's not excessive. It fees appropo to the meat of what's happening in the story. I'm not generally a fan of amnesia stories, but this is done so well—sort of a reverse While You Were Sleeping. Leighton and Jonathan are so great with one another. I love that Jonathan stood out for Leighton even when [...]

    • Another good read by this author, butI have read all of Tracey Livesay's books. She has a natural, easy way with words that pulls you in and makes you want to keep reading. Her characters are very relatable and you feel an instant connection to them. This book is no exception! The problem is, because of the connection I felt to the characters, the ending was too abrupt for me. I turned the page thinking that couldn't be it. At the very least there should have been epilogue! Ah well, still a real [...]

    • Excellent read! I was truly concerned that there was no way Jonathan and Leighton's story could work out well. Thankfully Livesay worked some fantastic magic and made me believe in that ending. Leighton's character development is beautifully done. She grows and recognizes how much a second chance is truly worth.

    • Perfect ending to this seriesI have to admit from book one I've wondered what would happen with Jonathan Moran and I'm so glad he got the happy ending he so richly deserves. Both he and his love interest Leighton are captivating and it's great to see their relationship blossom from adversity. Plus, food.

    • Another great one from Tracey Livesay! This is my least favorite of the series but it’s still a really good story just not my cup of tea. The lost memory/mistaken identity trope is one of my lease favorites but Livesay wove a story that kept me turning the page and rooting for Jonathan and Leighton. I’m hoping there’s more to come soon!

    • Quite GoodIt's been awhile since I've read a book by Me Livesay, and I must say this was a pretty good book. I loved the characters and I hope that the H's brother finds his own HEA

    • DisappointedFor some reason I couldn't get into this. The heroine wasn't at all likeable at first then acts a lot different when she suddenly gets amnesia. By then I'd already developed a dislike for her. Not my cup of tea.

    • Loved it! The heart always knows. A wonderful look at trying to hide from the hurts life brings by becoming or trying to become someone you're not. Family dynamics for both Jonathan and Leighton are the catalyst to bring them together and will work at keeping them apart.

    • I really liked this book. This is a new author for me but I am glad that I found the book. I want to know why the main character and his brother did not get along but the romance between the lead characters was really special and their chemistry was undeniable.

    • Love at its best!!Great story! Well written and had my interest from the very beginning. I was unable to stop reading until I was done. Thank you for this great offering.

    • Excellent readI loved this story about Jonathan and Leighton , so romantic. Thomas is an idiot, caring only about his career. I recommend you read. Enjoy.

    • Great story, but the ending fizzled a bit for me compared to the rest of the series. I'd love an epilogue/novella that updates how everyone is doing.
