    • Join Tista Ray as she takes you on a journey of life and young love in "Only For You".Experience the characters' emotions as if you are there. Ms. Ray has a talent to pull you in and make you feel as though you are there. "Only For You" is a story of true love and friendship through young eyes. Their emotions, their mistakes and how they come to deal with life as its thrown at them.We all want true love but can we allow it to come between true friendship? An excellent choice for a young adult rom [...]

    • ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3.5 stars!!This is a YA novella written in Edwards POV.(I love getting inside the mind of a guy.) The characters in this story are naive when it comes to the true meaning of love. Making many mistakes along the way they learn that others are affected by decisions made. Edward struggles with feelings of friendship, love, trust, commitment, and a sense of belonging. Innocently written by a talented author that allows you to capture the vulnerability of each character.

    • More reviews @ Jules BookshelfFrom the moment that I read the synopsis, I had the feeling that I would love this book. Unfortunately, while reading it. I find myself cringing over how cheesy and irritating it is.I am not trying to be mean or pessimistic. I didn't find this good at all. The only reason that I did not DNF this book is because I never review a book I DNF. The blurp was cute enough, despite it being an obvious cheesy book. I loved seeing love bloom out of friendship and stuff, but I [...]

    • [find this review on my blog at beentherereadthatreviewedthebo]Only For You was written in three parts, two fiction, one song lyrics, telling the story of Edward, torn between his girlfriend and best friend. Tista Ray showcases her talents by combining the two formats into a well-balanced story. The fiction in Only For You was written in first person, from Edward’s perspective, and the lyrics at the end were written from Ady’s point of view. I thought first-person suited this plot perfectly b [...]

    • Only for You is a young adult contemporary romance told in an invigorating voice of a male perspective. It's very rare to find a young adult book focusing on the male's point of view. It's the story of friendship, love and family. Ray has a knack to pull in the reader into the story. Only for You is an eloquent romantic story and Ray's calligraphy is something that has to be valued. All the fun starts in college. Edward, Jack, Ryan, Daisy and Ady are the good friends. Edward has been a playboy u [...]

    • 4.5 stars. This book is a young adult romance written from the male point of view which was refreshing and very personal. It’s a story of young and troubled love – real, vulnerable and very beautiful.I’m amazed at Tista’s ability to get the reader inside the character’s head and heart to the point where you feel so deeply for someone who is flawed, confused and broken. Most romances seem to come from the perspective of the writer, no matter how much they make us feel. In this book, you [...]

    • lovebooksblogbooksI received a copy of this book fro the author in return for an honest review.I liked the idea of this story from reading the blurb, so I was happy to review this for Tista. Only For You is broken into 3 parts, the first two are Edwards POV, the third is Ady's POV. I like stories that show thigns from different POVs, and this one made it work well. I think the fact that there are only a handful of characters in the story too helped. The main characters are Ady, Edward and Daisy. [...]

    • I have to be completely honest here, this wasn't my type of book. Being that it is from a male's perspective I was really excited about reading it, however, I never found that moment where you know when you're completely invested in the character. At the very least the main character!I really think it has something to do with the way it was narrated. It is mainly from Edward's point of view and there's all this inner dialogue about how he feels instead of conversations between him and the other [...]

    • I really enjoyed reading this short story. The characters were well written, and the love story was strong and tight from the start. Many short stories have the added difficulty of trying to get a full plot similar to a regular size story into a story, and tend to fumble with trying to get all of the added necessities needed to keep the reader hooked and to not lose the intensity of the characters. Tista Ray had no difficulty with keeping me hooked, and keeping the reader attentive to what was g [...]

    • ONLY FOR YOU by Tista Ray is an interesting YA Romance. A Novella. This is the story of young love, friendship and choices. It is told though Edward's perceptive, which is a little different but an interesting take on a guys's point of view of love, happiness and friendship. While, it starts out rather slow, it picks up nicely. I did have a hard time connecting with Edward, and his perceptive on life, love and friendship. Nicely done in the end. It is a quick read. If you enjoy YA romance, the f [...]

    • ONLY FOR YOU is told in a male point of view. Edward is dating Daisy and has very strong feelings for Ady. Who will he choose? He has a reputation for going through girls very quickly. He isn't looking for a long term relationship. He likes to have fun and isn't looking to settle down. What is he going to do?? Daisy wants long term and isn't going to put up with Edward's wild womanizing ways. Then Edward realizes that he has true feelings for Daisy. Is he too late? Can he win her back? What abou [...]

    • **I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.**The first thing I noticed about this story that set it apart from any others that I’ve read recently is that it was told strictly from the male protagonists point of view. It’s always a pleasure when I get the chance to step into the males POV because I enjoy getting a bird’s eye view into the way the other half live. Edward did not disappoint. I think what I enjoyed most about seeing things through his eyes [...]

    • The story starts with a very lovable Edward with the love of his life Daisy, so he thought. He was living the dream of happiness and love with Daisy. Which doesn't last, because there was his childhood best friend Ady who he can't stop thinking about. Edward spends a lot of his time thinking how life would be, if he was actually with Ady and not Daisy. Even though Daisy is a good friend and girlfriend, he can't help but want Ady. With the help of his girlfriend turn friend Daisy and his best bud [...]

    • ** Copy provided by the author for an honest review**Oh Dear, where do I start. This book took me a few attempts to get through it, picking it up and putting it down. The write up for this book was intriguing and the only good part of this book was that it was from the male perspective, which was refreshing, however i think that was the only bit I liked.Unfortunately, sometimes you can tell from the first page that you are going to struggle with a book, and unfortunately, that happened in this c [...]

    • I like this story. It's so candid and pure. It makes you smile and shake your head at times. It makes you remember how it feels like to fall in love for the first time and how hard it is to deal with emotions when you don't know what to do with them and with yourself. I like the guy's POV, it's a nice change to be in Edward's head and see how a guy deals with all the turmoil and excitement of discovering not only first love, but what comes after that realization that love is not always easy and [...]

    • The book was done in the main MALE characters Edward's *sigh* POV, which was truly amazing!! I love getting into a guy's head and seeing what they're thinking and oh did Edward have a lot to say!!!Edward along with his friends Ryan, Jack, Daisy and Ady are all in college and very good friends. Edward has a bad habit of going through a lot of girls and has no interest in getting serious or settling down for anytime soonThat is until he begins to date Daisy *giggle*Although Daisy liked Edward, she [...]

    • Only For You was an interesting novella. It does predominantly focus on Edward’s quest for love, and his quest certainly didn’t run smooth!Unfortunately, I didn’t really connect all that well with Edward and his best friend Ady. Edward just seemed to make several snap decisions and his mood would fluctuate depending on the response he received to a question, which I found a little jarring when I was reading, but really, his moods weren’t all that different to many people’s! I did want [...]

    • Received For An Honest ReviewA fantastic read. Edward finds himself "engaged" to Daisy although he really loves Ady. This story has so many climaxes you cannot stop reading it until the end but you still want to read more. Edward learns that love, friendship and trust is something that you find when you aren't really looking. When you find it you need to grab it and not let go. What he and Ady go through is something that everyone goes through but many can relate to because relationships do have [...]

    • Kindle copy from authorThis is a love story from a male point of view. The choices made from Edward as he tries to find love and maintain it.We first meet him with Daisy whom he believes he loves. She tells him to break off his friendship with Ady who actually introduce them. Edward is reluctant to do so and thus Daisy and Edward breaks up. Realizing they have mutual feelings they become a couple. As they spend more time he becomes jealous of other men and when someone from her past returns to t [...]

    • While I did struggle at first something told me to keep reading it would be worth it and it was. I couldn't put it down I need to know what happened with Edwards and Ady's relationship would they still be friends, would they get together and would true love triumph in the end. This book is written from Edwards perspective and its only the second time reading a romance novel from a guys point of view and it makes a nice and interesting change.I look forward to reading other books from this author [...]

    • Only for You is written on a first person point of view, which makes it easier to read and feel what the narrator is feeling or going through. Tista Ray did a great job writing the novel, as what's expected in an award-winning author! It was well-written with great use of grammar and narrative flow. That's the part I enjoyed the most. The only thing I did not like about the novel is that the narrator is too emotional and over- sentimental, which I don't like in a guy. In every book I read, I try [...]

    • This story is a good tale of young love, and a reminder of how falling in love for the first time for real felt. I liked that the story was told from the guy's perspective - you don't get that very often in romance books. The characters are young, so they are sweet and naive, and often confused. This leads to quite a few small twists in their story, and at times it feels like they'll never really and truly find their way to each other so read and see what happens!*I received a gift copy of this [...]

    • This book I don't know. I love the plot alot but I thought that the pacing was a bit too fast. Like how Edward went from talking to his Dad then suddenly it was 5 months after? And in some parts I got confused because Edward kept on refering to Ady as his friend. But I'll give this another try next time.

    • It surprised me that the author wrote this young adult novel from the male’s perspective. It was refreshing. She placed a premium on characterization, which is the reason readers can identify with the hero and all his flaws. Readers can feel the emotion. This is a five-star read!

    • Wow does this book bring back memories of my crazy teen years, The confusions and struggles, the laughter, the tears, all come along with learning and growing into the you that you are meant to be. Awesome book. brings back feelings and I am sure to those that age now they relate now! Great Job!

    • Cute story. While very short, this is a fun and quick read. Good characters that you can relate to. Refreshing point of viewC provided in exchange for honest review.
