    • I wanted to read a graphic novel as part of my reading challenge. Among the titles available in my library, I could like only this one.It was a fast and easy read. I liked the illustrations quite a lot. But still I kept on thinking, how much better it would have been to read the original novel by Christie. I had trouble keeping track of the characters. The story seemed to move too fast and a little disjointed at times. Don't think I would be reading any more Christie in this format.

    • This was a nice read. I think it was a bit confusing as a graphic novel, considering the number of characters and the length of the graphic novel, but it was an interesting story. Classic Agatha Christie

    • "Most great love stories are tragedies."Truer words were never spoken!Whoa! I was not expecting that! *shocked face*That. Ending. I SO was not expecting THAT person to be the murderer! I really thought Simon Doyle ( who evidently has the same name as a teacher at my school) would turn out to be the murderer of his wife. I really thought he was a dirty rotten snitch whom abandoned his girlfriend and got with her best friend, when in fact he was deceiving her all along to get her money and he hatc [...]

    • great book full of twist and turns. this book is one of the best Poirot series novels. novel is very well illustrated. like most of Agatha Christie novels it forces the readers to suspect every characterory is very attractive . its about a girl who had everything in her life but lost her life, except for tension and guilt she had in her life. i liked the spicy element of jealousy and revenge. my favorite character was Jackie. it was totally unexpected that Simon Doyle was also involved . loved t [...]

    • This volume doesn't have my favorite style of artwork perhaps, but with great coloring and awesome story adaptation true to the original, it works really well.My favorite Agatha Christie novel has always been And Then There Were None, but it's closely followed by this one, Death on the Nile, as well as Murder on the Orient Express, Death Comes as the End, Five Little Pigs, and probably also plenty of other satisfying detective stories I can't think of right now. This is a wonderful volume, I cont [...]

    • I feel like this had potential but just doesn't pull it off. Nothing wrong with the art. It's just that there's not enough space to tell the story. Really, instead of 44 Tintin/Asterix size pages, it should probably have been about 100 or more. Everything moves too quickly - the setting is never used to much effect, there are very quick changes between the characters - in short, there's no breathing room!

    • Despite it's reputation, I don't think this is one of her best. I found the book a little disjointed and I was very disappointed to learn that the classic line from Jacqueline ".a beautiful woman with the head of a cow - still better than being a cow with the head of a beautiful woman" (from the television adaptation with David Suchet), wasn't a Christie original. Still, entertaining as always.

    • I felt that the story was cramped and shoved into a few pages of coloured boxes. It was difficult to get into the story and get a sense of the characters and their motives. I'm not a huge fan of the way the dialogue boxes were positioned and done either. I think next time, I'll just read the original Agatha Christie novel rather than the graphic novel adaptation.

    • This particular Agatha Christie is not particularly well suited to the graphic novel format. The many characters are not clearly delineated through the drawings, making it hard to follow motivations and actions, and the plot seems ludicrous when cramped into fewer pages. Not all stories can be told in all formats, and this Christie is best experienced in novel form.

    • My favorite Agatha Christie novel unfortunately did not translate well into comic-book form. This book relied very heavily on dialogue to explain the plot, and it's sometimes impossible to tell which ginormous speech bubble is pointing to which character. I also didn't care for illustration style.

    • Certainly one of Agatha Christie's better Poirot novels. Like always, the twist was not completely obvious, and it's a great read for when traveling yourself.

    • The story was a little hard to follow since it was written a long time ago but I did not expect the ending. Very cool characters and a great mystery. I would recommend to others.

    • My first Agatha Christie. I was really excited to get through this book. Lots of twists and turns but it still turned out to be who I thought it was, just for a different reason.

    • Nothing much. More proof that I really don't like the detective novel, even though Hercule Poirot is belgian.

    • Contrairement à certains autres ouvrages de la collection, celui-ci est beaucoup plus facile à lire. L'intrigue est bien mieux développée.
