    • I didn't really like this book, but I finished it anyway. It didn't inspire or influence me. I liked that is continued the stories of the Harrington's. I just didn't understand Denise and what all she was about. She seemed to be easily influenced with a comment or two. I didn't feel the connection between her and Scott on a personal level; only when it related to sex. It was confusing with the back and forth of Denise and Scott. She seemed to be a bit immature for him and for her job. The ending [...]

    • The author must like controlling men because thats all I got from this story. It was nice to continue with the characters from original series and their wives though.

    • This book did not live up to Ms. Forster's excellent ability to draw a reader into the story, create believable and relatable characters, and weave a good plot. I am so disappointed, because Ms. Forster is one of my favorite authors. Everything about this story was bad, though. There was no complexity to the plot. The Scott was arrogant and UNCOMPROMISING (funny thing about the title). He was also self-absorbed and one-dimensional. Denise lacked texture. Many of the phrases (i.e. You poleaxed me [...]

    • I didn't really like this book, but I finished it anyway. This was not the best of romances, it didn't really move me. this relationship was not a story book affair/romance and it lacked detail. I have read much better by Gwynne forster.

    • Ambassador Scout Galloway returns from two years in Lithuania with two goals. Spending time with his family and friends and finding a very special lady to settle down with. He found this not to be as easy as he thought.

    • I love the story of the man who has finally comes to realize what he needs a real woman. Scott is a very determined man who won't settle for less.
