    • Huh, this book got five stars? How so?The book ticks all the boxes, but the writer doesn't seem to have a grasp on the emotion that such a delicate topic of rape introduces. Like, there's the time when Brynne Armstrong (the protagonist) finds out that the paternity of the daughter is what she wanted, nay, what she needs - the writer presses all the bum notes. Like, I'm a woman, I can relate to the fear and loathing of being raped, and I wanted to feel for Brynne, I really did, but the writer see [...]

    • These Prescott men are really one of a kind. Brynne and Devin really were soulmates. A tragedy bought joy into Brynne's life, and a chance encounter with her ex brought them back together again to finally solidify their family. These two had undeniable chemistry, and I really enjoyed how everything played out. I am glad that Bette Ford held the truth in for a while, it made the story even better. This is a great 2nd book in the Prescott trilogy.

    • True to the romance genre, but not syrupy. I like that Ms. Ford took her time with the story, in dealing with an traumatic event.

    • I REALLY liked this book. It had some sensitive topics like rape, but her delivery of emotion on Brynne's part of that was a little awkward. Other than that I loved the story and would recommend it.
